  • Use the differential diagnosis process to identify, manage and treat head and neck infections.
  • Use the differential diagnosis process to identify, manage and treat infectious diseases.
  • Diagnose, manage and treat pneumococcus infections in the post-Prevnar era.
  • Diagnose, manage, and treat urinary tract infections.
  • Discuss impacting pediatric infectious diseases literature from the past year.
  • Implement effective diagnostic, treatment and prevention strategies for influenza.
  • Diagnose and treat tick born diseases.
  • Diagnose, manage, and treat pediatric patients of different ages for both complicated and uncomplicated pneumonia
  • Apply diagnostic, management, treatment and prevention strategies for patients and families coping with MRSA.
  • Use the differential diagnosis process to determine types of herpes viruses.
  • Use current clinical guidelines to effectively treat viral infections.

This course is designed for the practicing pediatrician, pediatric infectious disease specialists, family practitioners and other primary care physicians.
